Sales & Product Manager – Control Valves

of industrial measurement and control equipment. We are

Devices, Temperature and Energy Maintenance Systems,

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
We would like you to be a leading member of our sales team,
as a Sales Engineer/Product Manager, establishing a
leadership role in managing key suppliers and markets in
our Syracuse territory. You would be required to help with
strategic planning and forecasting for specific manufacturers
as well as BurnsCascade employees.
As Product Manager you would be responsible for our control
valve product lines and coordination of the sales team for
servicing customers by providing the best possible customer
service available. You would manage customer relationships,
logistics and follow up. We know you are a disciplined team
player capable of meeting deadlines consistently with high
quality work and we want you to bring that capability to
BurnsCascade.
Our focus is on managing key account retention and growing
our share of customers. You will need to develop and drive,
both long and short range, account plans and in conjunction
with the plans, will produce and adjust forecasts for these
accounts throughout the year. Effective intelligence gathering
to allow for prioritization and focus of account plans and
actions will be necessary.
You will participate in Sales training programs, given by both
manufacturers and sales organizations. This job will be a
challenge intellectually to the right candidate, of which we
think you are. A challenge to work with one of the top,
growing sales teams in NYS.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in process control systems, control valve
sizing, selection and competitive knowledge is required.
Skill requirements include strong technical background,
problem solving capability and ability to manage time
effectively. Presentation skills and comfort level with
making “tough” decisions desired. Basic PC knowledge and
proficiency with complaint resolution is a plus.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering
Management, Engineering Technology or similar disciplines.
Service capability would be an asset.
SALARY:
Compensation is contingent upon experience and education.
